all I can tell ya is "LTD" is "Limited"
but I ain't seen an LTD is years... ever since the Galaxy was discontinued...

I've always thought that XLT stood for Ford's extra luxurious trim package but then what does XL stand for...extra luxurious but no trim? The XL is by no means luxurious with its no a/c and vinyl bench seat.

I bet XL is Xtra Limited trim, i.e. not much trim at all

XL= Xtreamly Little (as in options) XLT= Xtreamly large tag (as in price) Thay are just package options like lariet or king ranch (even bigger price tag)
