Before you buy that Go-Devil check out Pro-Drive.
They are a little better than a go-devil.

Pro-Drive is to expensive, but a damn good setup for a larger boat. My 14' flat would be good for a Pro-Drive, but I'm not going to spend $5000+ for a outboard motor like that.

Pro-Drive is built 20 minutes from my house. Have talked to the guy before too.

I'm looking at the go-devil style motor because it's small and easy to operate. Pro-Drive also doesn't make anything smaller than a 25HP either. This is going on a 13-15' gheenoe that's only rated for 5HP on the 13' and 10HP on the 15'. On this gheenoe I'm just wanting a small motor so I don't have to paddle. I want an air cooled engine too as I'll be running in very shallow water over mud. Don't want to worry about a water pump clogging and burning up the engine like what happened to the 115 evinrude.

I just found my next boat. Do you think I need stage 1's or stage 2's to pull it?
