We finally got a snowfall that is deep enough to plow. It is also suppose to snow again tonight and tomorrow. Up till now I think we have gotten about 4-6" but now it is starting to add up. You guys having a white Christmas? I have to go out and get to plowing now... :red

We got a totally surprise shot this morning. Our forecast was for 35 mph winds, slight chance of a flurry early in the AM and then windy and cold which is a pretty typical forecast for Casper, you could forecast that one 27 out of 30 days a month and be pretty accurate.

Well, the wind laid down, the clouds thickend up and we got 6" of white stuff this morning so we will have a white Christmas after all.

Got our first snowfall just before Thanksgiving. Snowed 4" yesterday, calling for another 4 to 6" tonight.

Marry Christmas guys and gals

We had about a foot a month ago. But warm weather and rain have decimated the snow cover. The ski hill here in town opened around Thanksgiving but I think they're closed again because they lost all their snow.

We may get something come around Tuesday, but it doesn't sound like anything more than a few inches. We need a major storm and that's "major" by our standards.

In this last week down here, we got about 12-16 inches depending on where you were.....

That meant a lil more OT for me and the guys at the shooting park:grin

I just heard on the local NBC station that Santa just landed at DFW airport. We're supposed to have some flurries early tomorrow morning, no accumulation though. The TV station said that the last "official" white Christmas in the Dallas-Fort Worth area was in 1926 with 2 inches in Fort Worth and 6 inches in Dallas. Looks like we'll miss a white Christmas again this year. I guess we'll all have to keep singing Bing's song and keep dreaming.
