I know I am getting the DP-tunner chip, But which exhaust?

the MBRP ?? 4 inch or 5 inch?

Edit and where to get it at a good price?

Try Cyclone Diesel Performance out of Farmersville, Tx. Chris carries it and at a very great cost. His website is http://www.cyclonediesel.com/. Has alot of other diesel performance parts and acces. I personally use him everytime for anything I need. If you talk to him tell him Big Blue (Ben Bagwell) sent you to him. Also aren't you with the North Texas Powerstroke Association cause if you are you get a discount with him also.

4" Downpipe is the biggest you can get. What you do after the downpipe is up to you!

Also think about how long you planning on keeping the truck. If less then 3 years, I would go aluminized. If longer, then go for the stainless. Even the cheap stainless is supposed to be better than OEM.

I've got an AFE stainless system waiting for me at my buddies place. Just need to get down to his house and put it on!

Well with your connecting rods in you '03, I don't think you'll be getting injectors. 4" is plenty I think for my application. EGT's are controllable. 5" would even better if it's in your budget.

I believe Dennis at ITP can fix you up with both and I'm sure he'd work with you on a shipped price for a package. Don't forget about an intake!

I love spending other people's money!:D

Hmm,

Chip Or Exhaust first? I have the DIY Mod for the intake, which IMO is the best I have seen so far for price!

Exhaust first--no question about it. W/o an upgraded exhaust, chipping your engine is like trying to fart through a straw. By chipping, you're dumping more air and more fuel into the cylinder and then trying to get it out through the stock (marginal) exhaust system and that's not a good thing.

The 4.0 will do all you need up to 500 RWHP anyway. If you want 5 inch go for it but be prepared it's loud as compared to 4.0, some folks love it because of that but wanted you to know what you are getting. We sell the MBRP systesm only and have since they started building systems. In fact they built the 6.0 system on my truck back in 01-03.
