Which Excursion to get?!

I agree. I picked up the 02 excursion this weekend. I love it. Ya the trannys on these definitely leave some to be desired.

Brians Truck Shop will have a fix for the trans.

I had a tranny done by a local shop up here. I picked up 3mpg from doing the tranny. (Whether the tranny was that good of a build, or the old one was slipping that bad, I dunno) If the tranny goes, don't just go for a reman, have someone that has a clue do it. If your not having problems with it, at least do a valve body to give it some love to make it last.

Good tranny's that come to mind are of course JW and BTS. I did neither, but have no complaints with I have. Good shifts, I can't wait to throw a chip in her to see how it does after that.
