which CB radio ?

looking for an affordable hand held CB radio to use on long trips. need something portable between vehicles, decent capabilities and afordable.

Sorry, I don't have one in my dually. My big truck has a Connex 3300HP with a Predator single whip. It might be a little big for what you are looking for but...

Also, I have heard good things about the lil' wil. It is a small magnet mount Wilson antennea.

I used to just use a cheep Uniden PC68LTW just wedged between the seat and the console. I have a scanner there now.

I have a tweaked Cobra 29 LTD that I am going to put in this truck. I would recomend a Cobra 29 for something that is good quality.

Get a General Lee,mag mount wilson 5000,and a 12 volt powerplug like the one you plug in the power outlet in your truck. Velcro the radio to the dash. put antenna on roof ,very portable and works very well.Go to www radioactiveradios com. call and ask for RADIOACTIVE tell him ronnie from sulphur Louisiana sent you.you might have to leave a message .he will return your call quickly and take care of your needs. IMO he's the best and he wont bs you.good luck .
