I made a roadtrip to Seminole, TX to buy my trailer about 1 1/2 years ago. It is a PJ trailer, 18'+2' dove, 6" channel, diamondplate deck w/ 4 in deck d-ring tie downs, 4 wheel breaks, 10k capacity, bulldog hitch, recessed lights, drop leg jack, rear jacks, below deck ramp storage and a few other things. I paid right around $3k for it I believe. I trailer shoped for a few months and the PJ had every option I wanted (drop leg jack and recessed lights were the biggest that many others didnt have) for one of the lowest prices I found.

I went with a steel deck because I dont like wood decks. They require too much maintenance. I have had to replace 2 wood trailer decks and I am always having to paint them to keep them from rotting or drying out and cracking from the sunlight. You can drill the steel decks too with no problems. I mounted a winch on the front of mine.

wood decks require maint ? man a gallon of heavy stain took me about
3 beers to paint on w/ a roller !

I paid 1800 for mine...brakes on both axles, recessed lighting, heavy
fenders (can stand on 'em).

Ive got a little over 2000 in it after adding a spare tire, wheel & mount
as well as the cost of etrack and the cost to extend the ramps from 4' to
7' (150bucks).

Mines only rated for 7500lbs and after you consider the weight of the trailer
that leaves me a little over 5000lbs payload capacity (which has been plenty),
so it might be a little light for most of yall...

Seminole location: PJ Trailers

This is the one I have with the options I posted above: PJ Trailers - 6" Channel Carhauler

I custom ordered it, it took a few months to get but the Seminole location has many different trailers in stock.

This is a Bulldog style hitch which you will find on the heavier trailers
