According to that site they say 65' is the maximum length. I will be 75' with my crew-cab, 27' travel trailer and a 21' boat. The commercial laws say you can have 95' of trailer (2-45' + dolly tongue)and an overall length of 120ft. If you stay under 75' you don't have to run an "oversize sign on the back".

I'v been out of the OTR truck'n for awhile but... Now I think I see what yer delema is. It's not so much the License as it is the length of yer combination.

Yer getn into total length, distance between axles and the lack of a dolly. THAT (?) I'll bow out on, cuz I don't know the Alaska regs.

I'm 74', bumper to prop. But to be honest with ya.... I hardly pull both anymore. Creates a hazard from Rubber Neckers on the highway, and EVERYONE wants to talk to me everytime I stop.... for ANY reason.

Crumm the problem is that the laws and regulations in the US are written to prohibit specific things. By default if it's not prohibited then you can do it but all Aspects must meet all applicable laws such as weight and length requirements.

Your best resource is going to be to visit any police dept and ask to see a copy of the motor vehicle regs, or see if you can find a complete copy online and you'll have to read through them to find out what you can't do and then see if that rules out what you're looking to do
