Antonio .... does the kit come with a knob? That's the part I'm looking for. I do eventually want to get a short throw, but the knob itself is what I can't seem to find.

Neal ..... how did you do it? Got pics?

The BD shifter comes with a whole new stick and knob, billet I believe. Dunno if they have the pattern on them.

Aight Neal, I see the pic now. Neat idea. I already have one hanging from my mirror. It's been in every vehicle since I started driving .... kind of a good luck thing. First weed trimmer I ever blew up, lol.

Rooster, I've been searching and every kit that I see is $350-400 and there is no knob with it. Seems like a rip off if you ask me. All the aftermarket one's for Stang's are around $200 or less (got my Steeda Tri-Ax for $175). Maybe it's apples-to-oranges .... but that's still a little steep, IMO. I guess I'll have to find someone to spin a custom one .....

Thats a piston from a 4 cylinder kubota diesel. I epoxied a 14mm 12point deepwell socket in the bottom of the piston, stuck a latex glove over the splines on the shifter and push socket on. then just ripped off the excess laxtex glove. the glove made everything tight and holds it on. Recently i made a braket that bolts on the shift knob that has my switch for my exhaust break, it works pretty good.
