Sorry, had to do it. I have had this conversation so many times with guys that say they can get free electricity. They always looked stumped when I ask how much it costs to charge the batteries, and cool the room down that they just put all that heat into.

For a minute there, Bryan, I thought you were showing us the benefits of a Texas public school education. :roflmao Glad to hear that you were awake during physics class. Just kidding, of course. :D

I forgot to plug in last night, down to -2 again. Truck would not start this morning, (cold block, thick oil, battery power). :cussing:

After plugged in for a few hours, (and charger) started right up. I guess it's time to look into the Optima Red Tops.


I generally plug in when the temps are going to be below freezing. I personally like having the truck heater warm up quicker.

I use a timer unless the temps are going near 0, then I plug in all night.
