The only way to STOP wheel hop is to lock the axle in place,(i.e. Ladder bar, Traction bar) The shocks that mount horizontally, on top of the spring pack, do not stop wheel hop they just cushion the movement when it happens. A good set up is not cheap, but holy cow is the difference noticable! My truck no longer "squats" in the rear when I hammer the skinny pedal. It just flat moves!

I made my own. If you have a set made you just want to make sure that they sit at almost, if not exactly, the same angle as your driveline.

Caltracks are an awesome setup that transfers weight while it controls spring wrap. You can adjust the preload to suite your needs. The F-100 has them and the whole truck lifts up on a hard launch. I didn't see them listed for a superduty but they could be made to fit one.
