the more POPULAR is the 373 in ltd slip...but the only
REAL way to know is to look on the tag (on the pumpkin/cover)
or door jamb label...and even then that only tells you what
the truck left the factory w/. (someone could still change it).
prior to 2003 the 3.73 was standard, 3.73 w/ ltd slip was a option
(i recall looking at MANY new & used trucks from 2000+ and many
did NOT have ltd slip)
look very closely at the rear pumpkin. it should have a tab tag hanging off of one of the bolts w/ code for what is inside the cover... report back and we can give you the skinny
you have a F350 he has the 250
250 is pretty much a 3.73 open diff or limited slip unless special order, i had a 250 with 4.10's but again it was a special order truck.
350's can go from srw 3.73, 4.10
duallies 373 (open), 410, 430's offered with limited slip
the 373 replaced the 355 back when we changed frm OBS to the new style in 99, and the 355 was very rare in all except a short bed, single cab 250.
