What's this pulsating sound?

3 Jacks, I made headway in diagnosing the pulsating sound. The two fuel hoses off of the fuel pressure regulator that feed both heads are worn and are sweating melted rubber. My mechanic said that worn hoses will balloon and not keep the fuel pressure steady. That's my pulsating sound. My acceleration from stop sucks and I always attributed it to a clogged fuel filter. I'm scheduled for Friday morning and will report back once they are changed. I sincerely hope it cures the problem.

Bio may have contributed, but if they are original, they're due.

The return hoses see about 100psi, so they can actually be replaced with SAE 30R9 FI hose and barbed fittings (like some of mine). Or you can have custom hoses made at any hydraulic shop with the barrier lined hose of your choice. Best for all fuels would be the Teflon hydraulic hose with stainless jacket, but at around 5000psi rating it's a bit overkill.
