High tech redneck, you are pushing over 400 horse on the stock early 99 turbo? What kind of boost you seeing? What size injectors do you have?

I'll tell you why, Because they are cheaper to make, i have a 99 with forged rods, and wouldn't trade it for Powdered Metal rods any day i'm pushing over 400HP no prob on stock and can go even higher, but yea it's cuz they're cheaper
to make

Your not pushing 400hp with the stock turbo unless your EGT's are about 1500+... I would guess about 370-390 maybe...

And the switch to PMR's was not due to cost, it was to lighten the rotating mass and to quiet the motor. The cost savings if any were very small. PMR's are just as strong as forged rods, if matterial is add and removed in the right places... They made one mistake, they used the same forms when they made the switch.

FYI The fastest 6.0's in the country..... Yup you guessed it, your feared PMR's are in them..... I am pushing 402 right now without the water/meth. Once I have some live tuning this summer the water will hit again and I should be about 415... Then dual HPOP's and push 450 on PMR's.... Its not the rods it the CP's that kill them...

I'm running about 35PSI boost pressure, I have 175 nozzles on 300 CC Split shot injectors and i can push 1500 on the egt's without a problem, i just watch how long i hold it there. i have a custom burnt chip with different settings, that's my level 4, i also have 3 other settings, one of them is a towing setting, for the bigger trailers

35 PSI..?? I thought a stock turbo run out leg at around 26ish..?
