hey bama, did you just use the emory cloth and the scuf pads to clean it or what... mine is starting to surge pretty bad and im out of warrenty...

and i guess the big question is... did you see a difference after you put it back together??

I used the emory cloth and scuff pads on the vanes. I used the angle grinder and the reconditioning pads to clean the unison ring and around the exhaust side of the turbo.

And yes, it did help with the overall performance of the turbo. It also helped that I
put in a new VGT solenoid.

yeah i new you put in a new solenoid.. i talked with ford the other day and they wanted 351 something for it
