what years to look out for?

hi, my friend is looking to buy an 04 6l f 350 with 40,000 and an auto, what should he look out for? what years are better?

The '04 after August build date are good. Earlier 04 and 03 are not the best trucks. Most of them are good. Run an Oasis on the truck at your Ford dealer. This will show all of the work that Ford has done to the truck. You will need the VIN to run the report.
