What to look for.

I'm going today to look at a used 2005 f250 crewcab with the 6.0. What do I need to look for and what things should I do before deciding to make the purchase. The truck has 124,000 miles.

When I purchased my truck (used) I should have made sure that the engine was stone cold when I checked it out (the owner always had it warmed up).
When I finally purchased it and started is cold it ran like cr*p until the engine warmed up, also look closely at the brakes (front) and tire wear

Oil? Maybe the glow plugs were going out or no being energized?
