with the economy the way it is, right now might be the time to assemble a good crew, line up a building, and pick up some equipment at discount prices....

funny thing is, there a 6 bay shop around the corner from me that is unoccupied and was up for rent(for sale now). it is a fairly new shop(less then 10 years old). also i found out recently through the grape vine, that the people that own are the same people that own the house that i rent. so maybe i need to go and visit the landlord and work out some sort of deal...the only thing holding me back, is getting some financil backing for the initial start up....thanks for the positive words, i need it....

Get the shop and be your own boss.

Yes, be your own boss!!!! Then when you butt heads with the boss, you'll be butting your own head. :):)

Go for it and see what happens. You might even put your old boss out of business and he'd have to work for you. Then you could pay him back!!!
