What to do with old HD platters?

I just finished disassembling the HD out of my old Dell box and I'm not sure what to do with the platters. I was going to physically destroy them but they're so clean and shiny that it seems a shame to break them into little bits (although .45 ACP vs. platter would be interesting to see). I'm stunningly un-creative this morning so if anyone has some good ideas, let me know.
