what`s the diff between 03 and 05 6`0s

does anybody know the difference between the 03 and 05 6`0s?

is the base engine the same? If not what is the difference?
I know the the wiring and computer, and turbo have changed! Is it just the comp programming? and finally is the horse power and torque the same?

I dont know exactly, I think mainly everything's the same

03 had a louder turbo, changed it to a quieter turbo in 04

Other than that (as far as I know) just the 05's better quality, the 03's had manya bugs in em

Good questions.
The basic design is the same, but there are many differences.
Improvements are made all the time.

I have read the the short blocks on the 03-04 are different than 05-06.
(not interchangeable)
The torque was increased to 570 for 05-06.

tow boss gets you 26k gcvwr
or up to 18.5k fiver/gooseneck
all with a crew cab long bed dually for the boss

upgraded factory receiver hitch,

also tow command with intergated brake controller

upgraded ABS
bigger brakes and rotors

coil springs for the fronts on 4x4's
Upfitter switches
tighter turning diameter

did something to the rear leave springs , my 06 dually rides much better empty than the 02 dually
4.30 rear gear option with LS.
just to name a few for the frame

and duallys come with 17" wheels to now.
single axles have up to 20" wheels
chrome package, amarillo yellow school bus package, harley package go tsome updates to

actually, when the 05's came out I think they said something like 150 changes IIRC ?????

and of course the 5 speed auto, the torqueshift versus the 4 speed auto....
