What kind of mileage from 6.0L?

I'm interested in replacing my 2000 F-250 7.3L in a few years with a lower mileage 6.0L. What kind of mileage does everyone get in their 6.0L? I currently get about 16 mpg in my truck. I have no cat or muffler. Also, I have the 80hp econo DP tuner and a K&N filter. Other than that, the truck is stock. If anyone has a DP tuner in the 6.0L, I would really like to know what kind of mileage you are getting. Or any 6.0L mileage. Thank you for each response.

I have a 03 Excursion 4x4 6.0 3.73ls. ~7500lbs

Commuting I get between 12-15.

On the road I have been right at 20 on long, all interstate hauls.

Towing... 12-14.....

I'd think yer 7.3 should be gettn better mpg than 16. Maybe Im dreamin. That k&n is holding you back for sure. I get 18 with my 99 and I dont have a tuner. Lots of other DIY mods so far.

Ditto. Towing I get from 10-12 mpg, depending on weather and terrain.

06 6.0 dually 4.30 gears we got 14-15 empty, usually 13 at 70
11-12 towing the fiver at 67 or so
