I bought mine for $10500 out the door with 178K and I now have 219k...no regrets besides wishing I had bought a 6 speed. You need to look at the vehicle as is if it has 92k on it. The only thing you have left to wear out is the front and rear end now. Unless they have been changed, you are going to run into balljoints, hub bearings, and tie rods soon...a water pump in another 50k (if you don't put a coolant filter on it) and keep your tranny temps down or you'll be looking at more. Put on a bypass oil, coolant, and tranny filter, nice tranny cooler, put the better cupholders in it (if it doesn't have the hook ones), and tally-ho.
You got a deal...drive it!

That's nice to get some advise on good aftermarket parts to put on. I think you hit the nail on the head for me because I don't need it to perform more than it already does, but I'm more than happy to add parts that will extend the life of the truck. I've been hesitant before to put any mods on it, but from the sounds of the people below I think the truck will be roadworthy for quite a while...Now I get to go shopping for filters, thanks for the advise orion!

www.dieselsite.com, Bob is good peoples. and I'm not kidding about the cupholders, if you have the little plastic-flaps instead of the hooking cupholders, you are about to have a mod you don't want...the floorboard of 32 oz Chikfila sweet tea...x4...don't ask how I know...

Id love to have your milage . I have double your milage and mine runs great! The previous owner and I delivered hottubs and pool tables 5 days a week all over NC for 5 years with mine. All you need to do is keep it serviced.

I paid $25.5K for the F250 with 40K miles and it's now got 251K miles. It's used 100% for business use. The DRW has 132K miles and the X has 182K miles.

Guess what motor is the strongest? The 251K mile one... Runs very hard all day long. It was bought and run a lot which is what's best for a diesel motor. For a few years I was averaging 50K miles a year on it. Actually for the past 15 months only put about 25K miles on it.

Nobody wants these things right now because it costs so much to run them...

I disagree. This statement is TOTALLY relative to where you are geographically. SDs and Xs are hard to find here in the Dallas area because they don't stay on the lots very long.
