What do you guys think about Hypertec Hyperpac?

Hey guys, I was just wondering how many of you guys have used this and what you think of it. I almost bought one tonight but figured I should put some research into it before I spend that much $$$$. Thanks for any and all input

The guy down the street has one and seems very impressed. He is coming from nothing and it was his first upgrade to his truck. I liked the gauges and all the stuff you can look at. Somewhat like the Auto Enginuity. Hypertech is known for very conservative power gains.

I'd be leery of their one size fits all approach. Previous attempts with Hyperjunk have not been good. I'd use DP-Tuner for my tuning solutions.

I'd think about this,with the Hypertec no switch on the fly like a chip.My son has one in his 02 F250 4x4 and hates it.He's getting rid of it and getting a chip.

The hyperpac is a shift on the fly set up. Its really not a bad system for someone wanting mild performace gains, a full set of gauges, all the data you can pull off the computer...

I went ahead and ordered one and it came in yesterday. Today I started hooking it up and the plug won't fit the port on my truck . I guess Monday I will have to get in touch with them and see what is up. It may be some kind of a sign.

Where are you tring to connect? A OBD2 port is all standard from brand to brand...

Got it taken care of. The plastic was too thick on the one they sent me and wouldnt fit over it. I've got another one coming. Leave it to me to get the rare one that somehow slipped through the inspection at the factory.

Let us know what you think! Did you get the extra box for the pyro? Thats one thing my neghbor did not get... He is going to take one of my extra pyros.

No I didnt get one either... not enough $$$$ right now but it will be soon to come. I'll report back as soon as I get a chance to try it out.
