Question What did you do to your truck today?

In the past couple weeks I have upgraded my Lightforce lights to HID, added a second set of HID Lightforce lights, added Recon Big Rig running lights, added a Recon Extreme LED tailgate bar. I also ordered Weathertec side window visors and a Wilson 1000 roof mount CB antenna. I'm going to take the plunge and drill a hole in my roof to maximize the performance of my CB.

Got my HPX cross over line installed. Painted my back bumper steps. ( Look like new)

Couldnt see paying $45 plus shipping for an HPX line you need to replace every year so I bought the KCM Diesel solid line for $55 shipped.

Got some extra parts from a neighbor who sold his truck.....ebp valve, glow plugs, fuel heater ( for a 7.3L, his was an 01 ).........anyone need any of these hit me up.

I have spares already but he needed the cash.

Installed a new belt tensioner and ordered new o-rings and gaskets for my NEWLY FOUND OIL COOLER LEAK.

got it stuck in the driveway because I was too lazy to lock in the hubs and use 4WD..
put a new dent in the bumper when I freed it and backed it into the horse trailer

drained my transmission on the driveway, i forgot to put the pan back under the truck
and unbolts almost everything to drop the transmission,

WELL... after 10 years & 160,000 miles, started getting a intermittent Batt Light lately. Re-cleaned the Batt connections and tested the Alt. out-put... Fluctuating between 12.? & 13.? @ idle, 13 ish above 1500 RPM.

Soooo.. I ordered a new 160 AMP alternator from High Output Alternator, 200-250-300-350 Amp Alternators, high output alternators, Delco Remy,Ford Truck Alternators , $252.81, TMD (to my door) in Cali, From Michigan.. Not a bad deal.. and should fix That.. I'm think'n.

So far: 1 Clutch, 1 Water-pump and 1 Alternator. Not a bad deal.. Either... I'm think'n.

Finally shoveled out the 20 inches of snow in the back of the truck. After having shoveled out about a foot from the bed last week. I think I'm good on snow for a while..

I got my truck back from the paint shop and am now prepping the frame with a needle scaler to do a roll on bed liner. Also am going to do brakes, shocks, brake lines, and other odds and ends.
