got er on the road again

finally finished it up today, crazy work schedule made me tired, now officially she has a 6/8 lift on er,;tu rides pretty nice too. rough country and procomp parts

this is more like what i did on friday and today..........

4 drilled slotted rotors w/ Z26 pads
4 ball joints
driver side hub
x tire rotation

next up: oil change & analysis, fuel filters, (tranny and coolant flush?)

Added some Diesel Kleen® + Cetane Boost® to clean the injectors. Never used this stuff before. Within 30 miles full power and acceleration were restored.

It's running fantastic these days with 320K miles on the original injectors. :hail

Getting ready for the big trip to CO in Feb.

Just hit 30,000 miles in my 2008 F250. So I checked, flushed, and refilled all my fluids. Changed my break pads. Changed my oil and filter. Replaced the fuel filter, and checked out my new chains for the big trip....

Oh yeah does any one know what type of power stearing fluid is required for an 08 F250? That was my only hang up.

Mercon V ATF is what the book calls for. Something like this stuff.

Up here the dealer flushes it out and refills with Aviation Hydraulic Fluid which is better in cold weather but in CA ATF will be fine.

no AV fluid in an 08 that needs ford spec is going to be good

busted the fitting off the fuel bowl doing an FPR shim..

then was fixing the mega-dent in the back of the cab and busted the rear slider window...

all in all, today really sucked
