Installed the new Ford all weather floor mats I picked up at the All Ford Nationals yesterday. They look good in the truck and don't move around near as much as the original carpet ones. They have a Ford oval emblem on the top and say F-Series along the side.

Installed new fuel filter drain valve o-rings. Hopefully that was the leak. Guess I'll have to check it out tomorrow after I drive it a bit.

I just bought some new Dieselsite boots for the boost tube/IC connection and the boost tube to air intake connection.
I have been eyeing these for awhile and the opportunity has come up where I can buy them.

This is the first time I get to purchase from Bob. Hope to buy more in the future.

Got the stock air intake & Dieselsite Boots in late yesterday (thank you UPS)

So I dove right in and got started on it. Here is a list of what I did to my truck yesterday & today.

1. Removed the Banks air intake system.
2. Went ahead & removed the driver's side battery (more room to work with)
3. Removed both boost tubes, took off the old crappy Banks boots.
4. Cleaned all the nasty oily residue out of the tubes.
5. Installed the new Dieselsite Banks replacement boost tube boots (they grip real good.
6. Went ahead and removed the Six Gun tuner and all of its components.
7. Installed the stock air intake system this morning.
8. Got everything put back together this morning.

Man this was alot of hard work. I remember now why I changed air intake systems in the first place. That filter is a booger to put in.

I have a question about one thing tho. The 6-gun has the boost & EGT gauges running thru it somehow. I had to disconnect the MAP sensor and hook it back up the stock way.

What do I need in order to re-hook up my Boost gauge?

The Banks gauges are electronic and will not hook up mechanically, so I ordered a new 3 gauge set-up from Dieselmanor with ISSPRO gauges.
