What a fun night last night.

In saying that my street was closed down, took me 3 hours to get home last night. One block from my house. Talked to a friend down the street and some guys tried to steel the new guys 5th wheel camper in the front yard. The owner walked out and shot the one guy dead as he was trying to drive off the other ran off. The 5th wheel was brand new the guy had it for 3 days and cost about 178k. The owner was waiting on his new truck to show up at the Freightliner dealer. This 5th wheel is big must be 45+' long. I'll see if I can get pic's. The cops did not charge him which is good. We have had a lot of break in's in the last two months. Work's out to one a day.

Holy Crap!!! Sucks that it took you three hours to get home but that some crazy chit right there. I came in yesterday morning and found out someone broke into our store between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

makes me glad that FL passed a castle doctrine law. though according to the cops who were doing our neighborhood watch program they said make sure you don't shoot them in the back so call out to them before you shot them because you have to be in fear of your life and if they are running then you aren't allowed to be in fear according to the cops & the courts.

Here is the update told to me by the guy who's camper they tryed to steal. The other guy that ran was shot too, but he sat around his apartment till this morning called the cops and said someone kicked his door in and shot him. He said, the cops asked were he was sitting and he said in the chair watching tv. Cop said ok, why is the hole in the back of the leg and blood all over the apartment. The camper guy told the cops, he'll aim better next time. I like this guy, he and I are going to good friends. I did use my truck to push his camper back into his yard about 60 foot. Good lord that camper is tongue heavy.
