I changed to water pump and did the brakes on my truck. I kept running into problems so my truck was down for two days. I was listening to my radio on and off and so my bats were low when I finally went to fire it up. Finally got it cranked and took it for a drive. Seemed fine so I came back. Well today I was driving out my road (about a hundred yards) the truck has NO power at all. Starts to idle VERY rough and knocking and missing. Dies and will not crank. Pushed. Yea. Pushed it back to my house tried the vavle at the back of the filter bowl and air whoosed out for maybe a half second. Turned over. Ran for about 10 seconds then dies. Hasnt fired back up yet. Couldnt even give it gas the last time it cranked up. Please help. I have to leave for work in the morning and need my truck. Thanks.

It's turning over, just no start, right?

Few quick things to check:

OIL level
Fuses under hood (9 & 22, I think, but might as well check 'em all)

Sounds like fuel pump, but I'm sure it's NOT the mechanical type like I've got, so I can't be anyhelp there...

I checked the oil first thing. No fuel there. I cant hear the pump running and when I crack the valve and turned the key on nothing comes out. I read a lable on the hood that says my truck has a fuel pump cutoff switch and that resetting it could resolve the problem. (Thats exactly what it says "Resetting the switch could resolve the problem") Where is this switch at? In the fuse box? Thanks a ton guys.

On my OBS it was behind the passangers kick panel (foot well).
I am not sure where it is on your truck.

Yes. Ive been on the phone all morning trying to find out where this shutoiff switch is. It's not even trying to fire now it's just turning over so now it's a fuel problem.
