the rotted wheel arches in the bed are bad enough.. I need to dump the running boards in trade for some frame-mounted shin-garfers.. rocker panels are nearly non-existent.. dammed old iron moths...

Remember that old Aaron Tippin song: "There ain't nothing wrong with with the radio"? That might describe JL's truck. 
One of the line is "the wipers don't work and the horn don't blow, but there ain't nothing wrong with the radio"...."got stopped by a cop with out of state tags and no tail light, he said I oughta run you but I'm letting you go, because there ain't nothing wrong with the radio". The main thing, it's still going and probably a lot cheaper to keep going than buying a new one and having a big note.
