last night coming home from the store mini-me proved that just cause it's a gasser doesn't mean it won't smoke out a lane of traffic.........

Cruising up the main 4 lane minding my own bidness a guy in a Carrera S decided to ride my bumper, and finally after a mile or so and plenty of chances to pass me enough was enough....powered into 4th from 6th and mashed the gitty up pedal, slipped into 5th and took a glance in the rearview to see........smoke....and the fading headlights of the Porche, seems that the rich fuel/air ratio and the turbo make a good bit of smoke.....looked like a stock diesel

At the next light the Porche driver pulled up beside me and had this look on his face that said........."I just had my hat handed to me by a MAZDA"
We pulled into the Dunkin Donuts and talked for a minute and he said "you took me totally by suprise, I had no idea they were that quick. Next time I'll be ready for ya"

Come to find out this guy lives about a mile down the street from me
so I'm sure he'll be looking out for the little black porche killer

So just cause it's not a diesel don't mean it won't smoke ya

That was a concern I had till I started reading up and asking questions, it only does it when I power shift and go to WOT and it is considered normal. Now I can't blow a steady cloud like the truck would but still I do get a nice puff.....

Just filled up for $32.00, went 360 miles on 13 gallons
