well finaly figured out whats wrong with my truck.

well i decided to pull the injectors out the other day so i could see if i had another cracked nozzle.i have one that the copper washer is nowhere to be found.below the bottom oring is all carboned up and looks melted.besides needing a whole new injector what other damage should i expect?think it cracked the injector cup?i wasnt loseing coolant oroil,no mixing of coolant and oil or growing oil in the pan from fuel and oil mixing.just always had a skip i couldnt track down to 1 cylinder.it always moved.come up with cylinder 2&6 bad,run the test 10 minutes later it would say 2,3,6,8 were bad.then it started running out of power and loseing fuel pressure when i parked it.so my suspicion of an injector sticking open when it got hot was confirmed.

I would clean up the hole and stuff a new injector in it.

thats what i was thinkin.i have a set of heads off my old motor so if i need 1 i have it.

Clean the cup good and make sure the surface where the copper seal washer should meet with has no pits in it. Stuff it with an injector and go.
