I was under the impression that anything over 1250 (for extended periods) and you are going to fry your motor.
My neighbor has an 07 Dodge (5.9L) Diesel and has an MBRP exhaust only. He is seeing 1350 (ave) on his pyro (towing stock)! But the weird thing is, he puts on a boost fooler and the Bully Dog PMT (on tow setting) and sees EGT's of 1240.
I am confused as to why a stock truck would run such high EGT's?!?
