This happened to me one time, everybody thougth that was the master cylinder, but was a bad front wheel bearing. :clap:

had a friend that had a spongy pedal. he kept bleeding his brakes for days, and could never get the air out.....i went and looked at it for 5 minutes and found his hub/wheel was about to fall off. :eek:

its hard to make the connection :confused::confused::confused: if you havent seen it before :sweet

I have a 97 with 159,000 just did the rears for the first time. And have been through 3 vacuum in two years and still having a problem. I would try a ford one if that is your problem

i will never buy another non-ford vac pump again, and thats all i will say on that subject :rant:doh:
