water pump 7.3

I had to change the fan clutch once on an old pre-Powersroke diesel motor.

Seems that the big nut was a left hand thread. Is that still true on the 7.3??

if you look on the fan shroud on the right side of the fan where "caution fan" is molded into it..you will see it also said "right hand thread on fan clutch..

by the way..not sure if i was to late for it to go today..but the resistor was droped off at the PO..sorry im a day late....

One thing to remember on ALL fan clutches.... whichever direction the fan has to turn to move air, is the direction you have to turn the nut to loosen. Hope that helps.
