Do you water it down or pour it straight from the bottle?

How did your install/testing go?

I am looking at the Snow Performance kits, any comments?

I primarily drive it empty and tow a single vehicle. No real power problems, other than the fact that you can't have enough. I did have some high EGTs last time a towed a truck through TN though.

I think I have to water down the Boos Juice. With mostly water and washer fluid my EGTs would rise to 1250 then drop to 1100 almost instantly. Now with the straight Boost Juice I'm noticing a power gain but no drastic EGT drop. I can roast all 4 35s in the rear without power braking now!

Go with the cooling mist kit... Better parts, better controler, better people...

I just got a good deal on a Snow Performance kit, hopefully putting it on this weekend.

Do ya'll think the injector will require a bung? Any reason why mounting the tank an pump in a toolbox would be a bad idea?

where are you mounting the nozzle(s)? if you mounting it in the intercooler tube, i would recommend a bung.

i mounted my tank and pump and it was not a problem. your going to need extra wire and hose. you will probably need a solenoid too. talk to snow about that.

My tank is in the tool box, but I would mount the pump under the hood.

I am mounting them in the intake tube. Bungs are in place and the tube is back in the truck.

Snow says the pump should be near the pump, so they are both in the box for now. I am going to rewire it with a solenoid soon.

Almost ready to drive and test...

When you say intake tube I assume you are talking the Y pipe??? You DO NOT want to inject water pre turbo...

And when you say pump near pump I assume you mean tank? There is no reason to have the pump near the tank. All it does is leave that much more water in the lines to drain into the motor once you shut down. You also should NOT run the water injection without a selenoid... This is one of the reasons I HATE SNOWS... Mis information...

Yes.

Right again.

That makes sense on the pump, but I have a backflow valve I am going to install near the injectors.

Yes! It hit me as I was looking at the wiring diagram that the full power for the pump was going through the switch to the controller... no dice.
