I remember a thread about this on the dark side(vintage 2000-2001). Some idiot tried to cross a creek that was deeper than he anticipated and water entered his western diesel cold air kit. That thread scared me away from the zoodad, temporarily til I realized I wouldn't be crossing creeks.

You lost me? Are you referring to the Kangaroo comment? He is in Australia and that is a kangaroo bumper on the front of the truck in his avatar. I was being serious for once and I still came across as a smart ass. Thats what I get for being one.
Hi crumm, that is what we call a 5 post bull bar with a bull catcher (the lower bar).the kangroo are not the problem it is the big dopy bulls you have to watch out for and little jap crap.

by the way, will water kill the electronics or are they sealed.

Thanks Bigdog

It would take alot of sealing to seal up the electronics on a PSD. Just hosing down the engine to wash it off can cause big trouble. How deep do you want to go?

Up here we call the big bumpers like you have "Moose Goose-rs".

You had better open up the hood (bonnet) and follow the air intake tubes. They start at the grill, about 6-8 inches below the hood, and go up to the turbocharger. It would not be good to get any water in the intake. This will mess up your motor big.
