Yah hoo

I guess I was persistant enough. I won my award in a dispute with Fugate Ford. Like the magnuson-moss act says, they have to prove the owner is at fault. That is how you beat them. The arbitrator listened to my testimony and Fords. He looked up at me and said,"how are ever going to know if we don't have the old parts". I knew right then he would rule in my favor. Ford has my check in the mail now. I don't know if they will back charge Fugate ford or not. Frankly I don't give a darn. I want everybody to know that this is not hard to do. Because you have mods is no reason to deny warranty. They will try to intimidate you at the dealership. If they deny you, ask for it in writing. Fill out the online form of your states Attorney General. My case worker called the owner of the dealership. They in turn called me and invited me in for warranty service. The deal with Fugate ford was with the BBB. The info for this was in my warranty book. It just took me 8 months to se it. Ford has an agreement with the BBB to handle there disputes. It is a binding agreement. If the BBB awards you, it's a done deal. I welcome all comments and contact, via public or private messages.
