Warm weather additive

So since I live in Omaha, NE, I have to use antigel in the winter. What I don't know about is if I have to use additive in the summer? I have went one summer with using it and one without. Really didn't notice any difference, but that doesn't mean it doesn't do something.

Any suggestions?

I am in the same boat as you with having to run anti gel in the winter and I have been running the Power Services brand. I am going to continue to run it in the summer as well but I may cut my mix back a little.

a lot of guys use 2 cycle oil, thats what im going to when the power service runs out

Running an additive in the summer is good to do, I think. Add something that improves the lubricity and the cetane rating of the fuel. Just my .02.

I use Amsoil Diesel Concentrate. Mix ratio is 1 oz to every 5 gal of tank capacity. I don't run it every tank but I do run at minimum 1 bottle per month. Its good for lubricity as well as keeping the injectors clean.
