i will be plugging it in soon at nights, just need to get timer. for now i have letting it run for about 5 min. (enough time to have a smoke, no smoking in new truck) by now there is heat coming out of heater and i take off, but take it easy for a few minutes, nothing over 1750rpm. i also run synthetic oil....thanx....

hey that synthetic oil will help quite a bit... I use plain ol' Rotella 15w30 in mine, and crissakes, if I don't plug it in when it's 30 deg out, it cranks like a 6v Volkswagon filled with 90w gear lube...

i hope that oil does help...wasn`t cheap....most expensive oil change i ever did.....used valvoline 5w-40 synthetic diesel oil with OEM filter....but a good investment i think....
