i dont think its unreasonable to ask for a commitment from them
either...i mean they want you to commit to staying...its a partnership
at this point...or it should be.

and i always say they can call me what ever they want (i dont
care 'bout titles)...as long as they PAY me...they can call me
low man on the totem pole or jr. just pay me like im Sr. or Experianced.

Why would they bring in someone from the outside to do this job? You sound like the guy. Can't imagine being in a position where you have to train your boss. Thats a slippery slope. You can take the spot and train someone to be you. At any rate I hope it all works out.

Why would they bring in someone from the outside to do this job? You sound like the guy. Can't imagine being in a position where you have to train your boss. Thats a slippery slope. You can take the spot and train someone to be you. At any rate I hope it all works out.

I'm definately the logical guy. Even though I might be a tad light on retail experience compared to some others, there isn't another person on the planet that knows our store, what we have and where it is better than me. And that's a hard fact.

I'm told that they'll make a decision by New Years.

Yes Sir. Giving the CUSTOMER the right Service, at the Right Time, At the Right Price.. Every time.. and yul become a Retail expert, by default.

That's pretty much the way I feel. My employers even stated that my friendly manner and the way I help customers is one of my stronger characteristics and why they are so concerned about me leaving if I should leave if I were to get passed over for the job.
