voltage regulator

ok i think my alternator is dying theres no charge going to the batts, my dad said to check the voltage regulator but i don't know where it is. anyone know? any chance it is on the back of alternator.

ok besides checking battery terminals and ground wires, are there any fuses i should check or any thing else? before taking it to a shop.

take the alternator to the local autoparts store and have 'em test it.

there are sights like alldatadiy.com that provide you w/ model year
specific diagrams...and trouble shooting proceedures.

alldatadiy is cheap (maybe 20 bucks a year)...you can even add
additional cars/trucks for 5 bucks or so.

if the local auto parts says the alternator is fine ask 'em where the
regulator is (my guess is its built onto the alternator).

worst case buy a new one and use it to find the old one ;)

you should also load test each battery
