What is the deal with this thing. I recieved it today and I know it is supposed to be straightforward but something like the battery must be removed to make room during install. There are no tips or instructions to aid in this install.

I have loosened the degaus bottle but still not enough room and I am scraping the front of the intake on the screw post from the radiator.

I was dissapointed to see that a "hump" hose coupler was included but my vehicle apparently doesn't require it because my intake tube from the Turbo to the Volant is long enough but a little too long and I have to trim the Volant plastic tube to make it fit right (Words from Volant)

With many of these installed can someone please help me understand a little better?

Mine was a tight fit and did get scraped up when it was forced into place. I had to trim the ram air horn around a bolt head to get it to lay flat. It should fit cuz your truck is the same as mine.

Did you end up removing the battery or anything? I just can't maneuver it in there. Also did you just connect the Volant elbow to stock turbo inlet hose with no trimming?

Thanks,

I have the airraid intake on mine but most seem to install the same way. It is tight in there but it will help if you remove the drivers side battery.
