well that was not fun. It was just over 32F out here and I did not have any stubby T-20. just a universal bit that came with a screwdriver kit. so I had to put a adapter to a extension on the thing and stick my hand between the turbo and the Xpipe and stick the extension under the xpipe and got it that way. The old o-rings came out hard as rocks and had yellow paint in them.

but I have a question. i found a lot of sand like material on the bottom of the bowl, is this the only filter in the fuel system?? Also I took out the heater element and when I put this thing back in I noticed it wasent attached to two of the three plates will I need to replace this now??

:coat glad I got it done before the sun went down

Not a single answer, but some questions!

1. Why do I continue to consider moving to Illinois?
2. Sand in the bowl on the outside of the filter? Or inside? (Yes, it is the only real fuel filter).
3. Why do you think you had yellow paint on the old o-rings?
4. Is there a WIKI on this procedure?
5. How do you get such cool animations :dizzy (the 'frosty breath' on the last post brings me back to question #1!)?

Thanks
