Vehicle Theft!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I just needed to rant and I figured this would be a great place. I went out to eat tonight with my girlfriend and her family and come back out to find my door handle popped out and my suitcase gone. Suitcase didnt have anything terribly valuable in it, but the idiots left....get ready for this....my ipod, radar detector (a very expensive one), a pair of sunglasses (also very expensive), and the truck (yes...again...very expensive). Whats so *@^$% ironic is that I ordered jimmi jammers last week and am getting a kill switch put on this week!!! IF anyone else has any other suggestions for theft deterrent devices that i can put on my truck please share as I sure it would be useful to everyone.

Sorry to hear that you got popped. The only other suggestion I can offer is an alarm and tinted windows.

My wifes Excursion has had the front driver side window broken twice in two years. First time the theifs ran off when the horn started beeping. Second time the Python alarm sounded but the theifs grabbed my wifes purse and my check book which I realized was missing three weeks later.

Every time I take one of the rigs to the ghetto I wished I'd taken the Neon instead.

You can shave the door handles all together and install remote door openers.

Jourdan sorry for your loss...they got me too back in feb. missed my
valentine one...my passport and the spare key that was laying on
top of the change in the ash tray...

all they wanted was the radio.

now i run a TRIPPLE deterant set up...jammers, alarm (2way paging) and
another lock out...and im actually thinking of adding a 4th !

Hmmm. Sorry to hear about all the problems you guys are having with being broken into and all.

I leave mine on fast idle when I park it for no more than an hour (grocery store, restaurant, etc). to keep it cool in the summer time and warm in the winter. so far, no problems.
