Years ago the performance clutch to have was the LUK. More recently guys have moved on to the South Bend Clutch. I am in the process of ordering up a clutch in preparation of some horsepower increases . While I was surfing I found there is a new clutch on the market. Anyone know anything about Valair Performance Series Clutches ? I was about set on a South Bend Con OFE but now I don't know. The Valair is a little cheaper and sounds to be just as good. Anyone know anything about them?
They offer Organic/Organic, Organic/Feramic, Feramic/Feramic, Kevlar/Kevlar, Iron/Iron and Ceramic/Ceramic for about any application. Since they are based in the Dallas/Ft Worth Area I thought some of you Texans might know something about them. Although fairly new to the performance diesel clutch scene, Valair has produced clutches for big trucks for years.
