OK...so its time. Got the cash. Planning on accumulating parts for a couple months (hopefully catch some sales or deals) and then dropping the truck off in December to get 'er done!!!

Here is what I am thinking. Wanting to get the forums thoughts on my choices and if you would add / subtract anything.

1. EGR delete
2. ARP head studs
3. Garrett Powermax Turbo
4. SCT Livewire tuner
5. Reprogram FICM
6. Air Dog Fuel system
7. Coolant recirculation hoses (elitedieselengineering.com)
8. New intercooler boots

That is what i am looking at now. Any suggestions?

I am being told by a few other people that I may want to think about a Regulated fuel return system if I do all this.

Benefits?
Do I need?
If I have the air dog, do I need?

1. EGR delete= Great idea!!

2. ARP head studs= Are you puking now? Try changing to Fleetrite ELC first.

3. Garrett Powermax Turbo= I have one using stock injectors and it's great! Get tuning for this turbo.

4. SCT Livewire tuner= Any SCT with custom tuning will be a great idea!!

5. Reprogram FICM= I'm using PHP tuning and have had great results!!

6. Air Dog Fuel system= I run the AD 100 with great results. I suggest either the AD100 or AD150.

7. Coolant recirculation hoses (elitedieselengineering.com)= Don't waste your money the effectiveness hasn't been proven.

8. New intercooler boots= Great idea!!

No puking yet....but I want to put another 100k on this truck with no problems and figure that and the EGR delete with definitley eliminate the major ones that could happen.
Thanks Heavy!

Can someone tell me the difference between the 100 and the 150 air dog??? Which one is better? I can get either one for the same price.

I'd go with the Air Dog II, it REPLACES the HFCM. Thats what I did as my factory pump was failing.
I'd also go with a regulated return fuel system.
If your turbo is good, I'd leave it, but that's just me.
I've done everything else on your list except the head studs (need soon, mine pukes) and the coolant recirc (can't see the need for this either).
Put the cash you save away for an unexpected breakdown :D

Differences between the two are the GPH they flow when pumping. A regulated return system is not required when using a fuel pump system (AirDog, Fass, etc).
