Sorry folks, but I have been looking for an answer to this this question for several hours but haven't really found the answer that I was hoping to find. I have a 2006 F-350 with the upfitter switches. I have found the blunt cut wires under the fuse box and the relays behind the glove box. I was under the impression that those wires were hot when in the run position and all I had to do is connect the positive wire and then run a wire to a ground. I'm trying to ad some aux light to the rear of my truck to assist with hooking up my fifth wheel at night. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

All four of the wires (orange with different color tracer stripes) in my truck are hot whenever the ignition it on, and the switch is on, and the light on the end of the switch lights up orange too. I just had to make sure I had a good ground for whatever device I was wiring up. I don't know how many amps your lights will need, but two of the switches (1 & 2 I think) have 30 amp fuses, and the other two are 15 or 10 amp, make sure your not exceeding the appropriate amperage.

If they still aren't working check the fuses, and check to make sure the harness is securely plugged into it's spot on the distribution block.

Hope the helps a little, Good Luck!
