I pull a stock trailer with my 04 and when I stop and try to take off ther truck will loose power and blow black smoke for a few seconds then gains power again. So yesterday I uplugged the egr valve and pulled my trailer with no problems. Ive cleaned my EGR valve a couple of times and I know it needs cleaning again but my question is, is there any harm in just unplugging the EGR valve other than just gettin a CEL?
