I didn't know where to post this. I had my birthday on Saturday only to wake up Sunday morning, go get a breakfast sandwich and hit a deer. My insurance wont cover it. I didn't select the right insurance. So now I have to fix it myself. Anyone have any ideas where to get body parts from? Specifically a hood or fender? I would like to get fiberglass for the hood, but if its over $350 its out of my price range. I have to find a Ford dealer that offers parts for a good price. I used to buy from Bowen Scarff ford in Washington State, but they are far away and shipping for some of this could get pricey.

Thanks in advance,

x2 on LMC truck. They have everything in stock. They do have fiberglass hoods too or they could be steel. If I damaged my hood I would be gettin an aftermarket hood like a cowl induction or ram air. Or go to the junkyard or somethin. Or you can always do ebay or craigslist.

By the way LMC truck has great prices but quality is so so and customer service was horrible in my experience. They are shipping out the 4th reinforcement panel! All the other ones they shipped were cracked. What a nightmare. Leaving for vacation Friday evening and they call me today that they are shipping it out tomorrow when I spoke to them two days ago that they would ship it then. So I get transferred to a managers voice mail and told them that I am repairing one of the other panels that are cracked and I am gonna install it. When I get the new panel I'll send the repaired, and two other cracked ones back. They're gonna send boxes to my house so I can ship back the damaged ones. What a joke. An $80 part cost them a whole lot more to get the right one to me!

The last thing I need is to have my grille and headlights to start falling out because of a broken reinforcement panel.

I also did the Tymar filter upgrade while I was in there because the old filter box was smashed anyways!
