Left coast gouging

It has dropped to $2.78 here,, looks like the left coast is hammering us on fuel prices as usual.

I just paid 2.44 for ULSD here in Indy. It's been hovering around 2.65 for about 3 months until last week, though...

wow bama...not ONE flyin' J ?

Its been my experiance that Flyin' J always had
the lowest prices (and they provide a cash discount
w/ their frequent fueler card...which is available to anyone)

Loves on the other hand always seems to be higher than everyone
else...

the fuel card program that we use, does not utilize flyin j. flyin j has their own fuel card system is the reason. the only time we might fuel up their is when that is the only place we can get to.

we can pay for it by way of fuel card check, that the driver can get cashed like a cash advance.

we use fleetone. they have a network of fuel stops that are part of their "Quality Plus Network" when we fuel at their "QPN" stops, we receive a lower price per gallon, similar to what flyin j does, except the rebate price can very from alittle to alot.

when the price of fuel goes up, we do not see that big of a rebate, but as it starts to come down, we begin to see a bigger rebate.

travelcenters of america is actually a big rip-off sometimes, they "like" their fuel and their repair shops too.

here is an example of a rebate.

we fueled in hurrican, wv. the price was 2.519, we only paid 2.258. so over the 109.567 gallons we purchased, we saved 28.61.

when the rebates are good, we have seen as much as over 800.00 in savings when we fuel at the rebate stops in our program.

hope that helps out some bush.

BTW, flyin j used to be part of our fuel program several years ago, before they went to their own fuel card system. and they do have one of the nicest truck stops on the road today.
